TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION
Payment Policy
Any reservations must be made online using the provided electronic contract form. Payment is made on the day of your tour at our office by cash. Acceptance of a reservation shall be considered complete when the participant receives confirmation of acceptance from Galway City Cycle Tours. Please note: If a confirmation email is not received after booking with us, please check your spam folder. If the email is not present in your spam folder, please contact us.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE TOUR
PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDED BELOW CAREFULLY. THESE CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.
Participation is subject to the acceptance by the participants to the following terms and conditions:
Galway City Cycle Tours will provide all participants with bicycles and helmets that will be delivered in perfect working condition and these must be returned in the same condition at the end of the tour.
Participants will be accompanied during the tour by an English speaking guide.
The price for the tour amounts to €25.00 per person, taxes inclusive. Payment must be made in cash at our office on the day of the scheduled tour.
In the event that a booking does not reach the minimum number of required participants, the service will not be provided. This also applies in the case of adverse weather conditions or exceptional events that make the scheduled tour impossible. Galway City Cycle Tours withholds the right to exercise discretion when evaluating the appropriateness of scheduled tours. In these cases the participant is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid or to choose an alternate tour scheduled within 7 days after the cancelled tour. The replacement tour will be of equal value and duration to the cancelled tour. Should the participant choose an alternate tour but then not participate, they will renounce any refund claims they were initially entitled to.
Participants of the tour affirm that they are entirely responsible for their own actions and that any rights to claim for damages against Galway City Cycle Tours are waived. In particular (but not limited to) clients declare that:
Participants must present themselves at the agreed tour meeting point no later than 30 minutes before the departure time.
No refunds will be given to those that lose contact with the group or those who do not complete the tour.
Galway City Cycle Tours may also request a health certificate if it is deemed necessary.
Participants are required to practice prudence and diligence, particularly in relation to the use of the equipment provided by Galway City Cycle Tours during the tour.
Participants accept that they use the equipment provided by Galway City Cycle Tours at their own risk.
Participants have the right to purchase personal insurance to cover potential damage to their person, third parties or equipment.
Galway City Cycle Tours accept no liability for any damage to the participant, third parties and equipment however caused during tours.
Galway City Cycle Tours do not accept any liability for loss of baggage, money, valuables or any other items during the tour.
Participants will be held responsible for any damage to the equipment provided to them by Galway City Cycle Tours.
Participants will be held liable for all damages that Galway City Cycle Tours may endure due to the failure of the participant to comply with their obligations.
